How I Help
Turn a business growth constraint into a practical technology move.
I help leaders decide what needs to change, why it matters, and whether the best next step is to improve, buy, build, connect, simplify, or stop. We start with the outcome, not the tool.
A staged engagement
Get clear before you commit.
Each phase gives you something useful and a chance to decide whether to continue.
- Phase 1
Technology Growth Assessment
Clarify the growth goal, diagnose the constraint, compare opportunities, and recommend the first move.
Deliverable: Technology Growth Opportunity Map - Phase 2
Solution Design
Define the outcome, choose the approach, and create a practical implementation plan.
- Phase 3
Implementation
Build, configure, connect, or coordinate the solution. Then put it to work and see whether it solves the problem.
- Phase 4
Ongoing Technology Guidance
Get senior guidance on priorities, vendors, roadmaps, cost, reliability, and what to improve next.
Business outcomes first
The work follows the constraint.
That might mean improving how you win or serve customers, automating work that slows the team down, connecting systems and data, supporting a new digital offer, fixing an existing technology investment, or using AI for a clear and measurable job.
A deliberate boundary
Advice that still works if someone else implements it.
After the assessment, your team can handle the work, take the recommendation to another provider, or ask me to scope the design and implementation as a separate engagement.
Start With the Growth AssessmentCommon questions
A straightforward place to start.
Do we need to know what technology we need?
Not at all. Tell me what you want the business to achieve and where progress feels stuck. The assessment will show whether technology belongs in the answer.
Do you advise or implement?
I do both, but as separate decisions. The assessment and recommendation come first. You choose whether the proposed move is worth pursuing before any implementation begins.
Is this fractional CTO work?
Sometimes. The work can provide similar senior technology judgment on a project or part-time basis. Technology Growth Advisor is a clearer description because the focus stays on business growth and getting the right solution into use.
