I've spent 27 years learning one thing: technology that doesn't drive business outcomes is just expensive infrastructure.

My career began in software engineering and systems analysis, progressing through technical leadership roles across energy, financial services, healthcare, and government before moving into solution architecture. This journey taught me that the best architecture comes from understanding technology at every level—from code to cloud to boardroom.

Today, my focus is enterprise architecture for large-scale financial operations—designing and supporting systems that manage multi-billion dollar portfolios. I ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value, not just technical elegance.

Along the way, I've developed what I call "Value-Based Design"—an approach that starts with business outcomes and works backward to architecture decisions. It's how I think about cloud migration, API strategy, regulatory compliance, and AI adoption.

I'm passionate about building high-performing technology teams. I've designed learning paths that upskill engineers, created developer forums that foster innovation, and mentored technologists as they advance in their careers. Building great technology starts with developing great talent.
